Telerehabilitation for Exercise Training in Pregnancy

OBJECTIVE: To determine the effects of exercise training on severity low back pain, disability, and quality life in pregnant women followed by telerehabilitation. STUDY DESIGN: This prospective cohort study consisted 11 women. Low pain effect functionality, life, aerobic capacity were determined Visual Analogue Scale, Oswestry Back Pain Disability Questionnaire, Short Form-36 (SF-36) 6-minute walking test, respectively. The home-based regimen was designed, telerehabilitation support provided two days a week for total eight weeks. evaluations repeated after program Wilcoxon test used to compare pre- vs. post-treatment results. RESULTS: Physical function, physical emotional role difficulty, subscale SF-36, severity, distance Questionnaire scores seemed have improved program. CONCLUSION: Telerehabilitation can be an effective method increasing functionality maintaining programs during pregnancy.
